KRISTIE BATEMAN, M.S., CCC-SLP, BCBA​

Kristin is a licensed and certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Behavioral Analyst and teacher in the state of Texas. She holds a Bachelors of Science in education from Texas Tech University, Master of Science from Texas Woman's University and took her certification for her BCBA through University of North Texas. Kristie has over thirty years of experience working with children in various settings, including public schools as both a teacher and a Speech Pathologist.  In the Spring of 2011, Kristie fullfilled a life long dream and opened Link2Speech. From just one Speech Pathologist and a handful of clients to a full team, she is thankful for the opportunity to positively impact so many lives at the clinic today.

While she gets to do many awesome things at the clinic, she truly loves getting to work with children and being a mentor. Her goal as a mentor is to ensure her clinicians are trained to reach their fullest potentials. Kristie believes having a 25-year-old son with autism allows her to truly connect and understand the challenges parents face when they have a child with special needs. Her focus and goal is to draw on children's strengths while targeting their weaknesses. Kristie feels it is essential to equip parents with carryover strategies to help their child excel in multiple environments beyond the clinical setting.

When she is not pouring her heart and soul into the clinic, Kristie loves spending time with her family and traveling to Crested Butte, Colorado. Some of her favorite hobbies include knitting, snow skiing, ice skating and going for long walks.

In her 30 wonderful years of marriage to the love of her life, she has been blessed with many wonderful gifts from God—including 3 children. Their oldest, Mitchell is 28 years , Conner is 25, and Ashlyn is 21. Their family also loves their super sweet fur baby, Judd, a Papillion who loves snuggling with the family on the couch! In her lifetime, Kristie hopes to connect to her family roots by traveling to Sweden where her mother’s side of the family is from.
