Kandace Cade: Associate Interventionist

Kandace holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  She has completed 40 hours of RBT training and is currently working hard on the final steps to become a Registered Behavioral Technician. Additionally, she is also studying to be a Marriage and Family Therapist.

She has spent the last twelve years working with children as a dance teacher, nanny, licensed care facilities, and as a youth leader at her church. She enjoys finding new ways to connect emotionally to the children during ABA therapy sessions because she feels making connections with each child truly helps them feel secure while creating a nurturing environment where children can meet their goals.

Kandace strives to contribute to the mission at Link2Speech and Behavior Clinic by allowing her own cultural experiences, personality, and her faith in Christ to inform her work. She believes allowing space for creativity, individuality, and faith within her work truly empowers her clients to do their best work.

When she isn’t working hard on her studies or at the clinic, Kandace enjoys reading, traveling, and anything to do with fine arts—singing, dancing, writing music, and concerts are just a few of her favorites!  Sometimes you might even catch her singing to her 7-year-old son, Zaideko—a quirky cat who thinks he is a dog! Kandace wants to every continent (except Antarctica) during her lifetime!
